Respect Table
Respect Table comprises leading companies that actively strive towards sustainable development through corporate activities as well as through engagements with European and global political decision makers. Respect Table’s network represents companies from different sectors which share knowledge and practical experience with each other.
The main focuses of the Respect Table’s 2008 and 2009 agenda are the European Parliament’s decision-making process for the EU’s 20/20/20 plan on climate change and the signing of a new international climate change agreement. In order to have an impact, Respect Table, through its presence at the main conference, will work closely with the political decision makers within the EU, the commissioners, and important authorities including Globe Europe and Club of Madrid. By working together with Margot Wallström, Mary Robinson and Gro Harlem Brundtland, Respect Table will be making a unique contribution to the project Road to Copenhagen (see below).
The honorary chairman is Margot Wallström, the vice chairman of The European Commission.
